Guide for Tick Tick

To add a calendar subscription in Tick Tick there are several ways depending on the device you are using. For simplicity’s sake, here are the instructions for adding it from your browser.

Step 1

Open the Tick Tick webapp and go to settings.

Step 2

Click on Calendars and email.

Step 3

Click on Add Calendar and from the submenu click on URL.

Step 4

Enter the calendar’s url and click Confirm. You will now be able to see the lesson calendar both in the list of tasks for the day and in the calendar view.

Remarks

• It may happen that the calendar does not synchronise correctly between the browser and the app, in which case you can add it again from the app.
• The calendar has 3 display modes: hidden, visible only in the calendar, visible in the calendar and in the task list. The mode can be chosen by clicking the Edit button after following steps 1 and 2.

The unimi webapp allows you to download the .ics file containing the classes in your academic schedule, but the tricky part is getting the link to the file. The purpose of this site is to make it easier to get the url of the ical format of your timetable to add it as a "calendar subscription" in your device's calendar app.

In this way, your class schedule will be synchronized automatically (e.g. if a lesson is canceled or extra lessons are added, your calendar will be updated) and you will no longer need to use the unimi service to view your timetable.
